I applied via email and heard back almost immediately. An in-person interview was scheduled within a week. It was a standard interview, but the job description basically hinged on the company winning a grant to create the product that the position would be handling. When I asked what the job would be if the grant did not go through, the answer was effectively: a little of this, a little of that, depending on the day. Maybe grant writing, maybe editing, maybe marketing projects, whatever needed doing most. Since the interview, I've seen the job listed again but also two other jobs with basically the same description, but called PR and Marketing Manager and Grant Writer. Maybe they are hiring for three new positions.
