Everything up until the final interview was a pleasant experience. Recruiter screening, middle manager interviews were all great and I felt good about this company. It wasn't until I encountered the final boss- a 20 year veteran of the company, that I started to see what this place is. He was old school, extremely buttoned up, and traditional. You could tell he had biases based on viewing my resume and it was over before we started. He somehow found a way to weave in any preconceived notions about my background, into the questions. A total scrooge who is definitely the type to gatekeep and slow down innovation at the company. I'm coming from a FAANG background, where people keep up with the times and practice a work style that is more modern, yet Visa sees it as "fun and games".

Spoke with a recruiter during a college networking event. The recruiter asked a lot of scenario-based questions. The person didn't really seem interested or give very good feedback. I thought I did really well, but I did not get an offer.

Three interviews. First with HR rep, second with the hiring manager and last one with the manager of the hiring manager. By the ed I got an email that the job was closed and where no longer gonna hire anyone but got no further details even though i connected with he HR rep and hiring manager on linkedin.
Three interview stages: initial interview, hiring manager interview and data test interview. Fairly straightforward with advanced preparation and the interviewing team from VISA who joined the call were extremely friendly.
