I interviewed with HR and two consultants over a period of 4 weeks. I chased the HR person I had been dealing with around a week after the the final interview. I received an ooo stating that he had left the business. I followed up with another HR employee, who stated that they were awaiting confirmation on some project outcomes before confirming next steps. I enquired 6 months after my interviews why I had seen an ad for the same role I applied for months ago and was told that "the advert is to build our Finance and HR Consultant pipeline in readiness for some project bid outcomes, of which we are waiting to hear about. We are not recruiting for an actual vacant role at the moment." Be aware that Veran don't advertise for active positions with live projects, they only look to build a pipeline that they will call upon if and when they win work.
