Extremely bizarre HR person. Terrible experience. The HR person played a weird game in avoiding telling me the pay range for the role. Insisted on me telling her what I'm looking for, which led to me repeatedly telling her I have no idea because it depends on the specifics of the role and the team I'd be working with. She refused to proceed until I gave her a number. I gave her a random number after much vacillation and evasion on her part. She immediately says, in the most awkward phrasing: "I don't want to continue this conversation anymore." Me: "Um, okay." Her: "Bye." Look up why a recruiter wouldn't give you a salary range.
