      Entretien pour Flight Attendant

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez United Airlines (San Francisco, CA) en sept. 2015

      Entretien

I applied for the position August 18, 2015. Invited for a video interview with HireVue August 19, 2015. Completed the HireVue interview on August 21. On August 26 I scheduled my F2F interview to be held in San Francisco on September 3rd. I have done a video interview before for another airline, so that definitely made it easier for me to relax and not be so nervous. All the questions that were asked were found here! I wrote them down and then put a lot of thought into answering them in STAR format. As I had done for the previous interview, I researched on Glassdoor and several other sites to make sure I was well prepared. I m made sure that I completed my interview in a well lit area with zero distractions or other noise. It doesn't sound like 30 seconds is much time to prepare, but it is plenty. I found myself pressing record before it was even one third of the way through the countdown. I finished my HireVue in under 15 minutes. A few days later, I received an invite to call and schedule my F2F interview in San Francisco. When calling, I got through immediately and scheduled my interview for the following week with the first available date. They place you in positive space seating, meaning you *could* get bumped but I wasn't worried. They fly you out the evening before at their expense, however, you must pay for your own lodging and meals. I had packed some food and was planning on staying at the airport but last minute got the hook up for a free room from a friend. That was nice! I travel a lot and sleep over in airports fairly often, so a hotel room can be a treat, haha! The following morning I caught my shuttle by 715am, made it to the airport by 730am and then took the shuttle over to the interview building by 740/745. There were a few other flight attendant hopefuls on board the shuttle with me that were so very friendly. We got inside the building and chatted in the waiting area for a bit before being escorted back to the presentation room. They had coffee and such but I was already overloaded on caffeine for the time being. I chatted with the other candidates and was surprisingly not nervous at all, just anxious to get it done so that I could hopefully get a CJO. They gathered our resumes, gave us name tags, confirmed our flight details for our flights home and then we sat through a brief presentation about the company/benefits/training/etc. Afterward, we were called back one by one to do a one on one interview with In Flight Recruiting. They ask lots of questions, have you read a blurb like you're a FA re: Customs paperwork. Lots of STAR questions and also a role playing scenario. After that, I was shown where the bus stop was to get back to the airport and told "I'm just the middle man and you'll be hearing from us in 5-7 days"... which, come on, just tell me yay or nay. No need to string anyone along. I don't know, maybe they had someone freak out on a flight? At any rate, I knew right then and there that I wouldn't be moving forward from everything I had read on here. If you don't get the second interview, you are definitely not going to be getting the job. It is a little disheartening as this is my second TBNT, but I guess we shall see what the future holds! All the questions you will be asked are on here, so do your research! Dress business professional, both for the interview AND your flights (if you are being flown out). Although disappointed, I remained professional and did what was asked of me. Good Luck!

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening. Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test. Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
