Interview went well, they asked barely any questions. They wanted to know about your knowledge of the brands in the prestige section.
The only problem I had was that I already had about a year experience working at Ulta before the pandemic & was refferred by my old manager, but I still wasn't selected over others with no experience working at an Ulta. It seems they were looking for a specific type of person. I am goth with alot of piercings & colored hair, I hope that didn't have anything to do with it. Or maybe they just wanted someone who was extremely peppy. Whatever. Just felt like the least Ulta could do was hire their employees back after some had to move locations for financial reasons. Especially since I have proficient knowledge in skincare, haircare, & Years of experience in high end & mass makeup brands. They could use the diversity tbh.

Super simple. Was contacted after applying on website and met in person for 15 minutes. Interviewer was super sweet and mostly just wanted to see how I interact and talk with people.

The interview was relaxed and casual, held in the back of the store. Management was very down to earth, and we had a great conversation. I was told that the work environment in the store was very supportive and friendly, and I really felt that energy during the interview.

Easy, fast and friendly management. Simple basic interview questions. Good training. Fun environment. Friendly people and atmosphere. Lots of benefits. Bad management (micromanaging) but very easy job and daily tasks.
