J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez USHEALTH Advisors (Denver, CO) en janv. 2014

      Entretien

Interview process, for me at least, was minimal. I had been referred to USHA by a friend that knew a very successful agent and recommended I check them out. I called the agent who in turn arranged an interview with his supervisor. The agent (who later became my trainer) and the supervisor were present at the interview, with the supervisor walking through a PowerPoint presentation about the company and benefits, etc. The agent commented occasionally, but the supervisor ran the meeting. I was asked how I felt about being an independent agent and that I would have to structure my own time - no established work hours. I was OK with that. I was shown the pay structure and how one or two policy sales per week would equal a very decent income. It was impressive and do-able and I told them I was in. We all agreed I was a good fit and before the presentation was even finished we agreed to move forward. I was given some forms to fill out locking me in as a "captive" agent able to sell only for USHA. I then had to study for and pass the Colorado State licensing exam for health and life insurance before I could formally become an agent. I was given information on where to get study materials and how to apply to take the exam. They would pay for most of the cost of the exam and once passed I could officially come on board. I took longer than most agents to study the required pre-test materials, but passed them, took the formal certification tests, passed them and became officially an agent for USHA.

      Question 1

Are you comfortable working on your own time without a specific hourly schedule? Can you structure your own time to make best use of it without someone telling you where to be and when?
