While the initial screening call with Katy was a positive experience, the next call with the 'head of marketing' Najma at TryHackMe was the most unprofessional job interview I've had in my career.
I was tasked to create a marketing strategy and present it in our meeting, so took a couple of hours out of my schedule to do this. From the moment the call started, Najma could not come across less interested. She was doing her nails, barely looked at the camera/screen, and even muted and turned off her camera for large parts of my presentation (when I paused at this moment and asked if everything was alright I was told plainly to continue talking into the void).
Once I had finished my short presentation, I asked if she had any questions or anything I could expand on, and was met with the face of someone who clearly hadn't listen to a word I had just said. She then went on to ask 1 or 2 incredibly generic interview questions completely unrelated to Marketing and the company/role, and the meeting ended.
I strongly advise any serious marketer to take their talents elsewhere. Your time is a commodity this leadership team isn't equipped to respect. I only wish I had looked at Glassdoor before starting this process, as my experience is clearly not an isolated case.
