      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Travelers en oct. 2016

      Entretien

I applied online for the position and was contacted by a recruiter via email about a month later. The recruiter set up a time for a brief phone conversation during which he went over the roles of the position and gauged my interest. I was then informed that I would have to report to a local Travelers office to take an aptitude/skills assessment in order to move forward with the interview process. I found this test to be relatively easy and passed with little doubt. The test consisted of logic questions, simple math, reading, and a writing sample. Each section of the test was timed, although I never felt like I was pressured to work quickly or feared running out of time. I received confirmation that I passed the assessment on the same day that I was administered it and was notified that I would be contacted by a recruiter to set up rounds of phone interviews. The phone interviews consisted of a 2 to 1 interview with two managers in which I was asked many behavioral type interview questions. These questions were often multi-part and I had to answer with examples of past experiences. This was by far the most difficult of the interviews. The next interview was with a peer who is currently working the same position I applied for. The purpose of this interview was to ask questions specific to the position that you might be less comfortable asking to a superior and to also get a feel for if the position is a good fit for yourself. This interview was informal and enjoyable. The final interview was with a 2VP. This interview consisted of more behavioral-type questions along with some opportunities to talk about myself and my outside of work life. This interview was also very enjoyable and relatively stress-free. About two weeks after the interviews, I received a call from an HR spokeswoman informing me that Travelers was extending me a conditional offer of employment. At this point I was asked to submit to a drug test and a background test. The testing process took about a week; after which I was extended a formal offer.
