      Entretien

Very long, extensive process that was quite grueling as it took about 8 weeks from start to offer. Applied through Indeed. Sent a beautifully crafted cover letter along with resume. Recieved an email a week later telling me that I was not qualified and thanking me for my interest. I could not believe it! I went on Linked in and wrote a letter to the CEO stating that there must be some kind of algorithmic selection process. There isn't a human being on the planet that can read my resume and come to the conclusion that I an unqualified. Ray Charles could see that I am clearly qualified! About 2 weeks later, I received a call from HR to set up a phone interview. Phone interview was 30 minutes long. It was fairly extensive. I wrote a thank you to the interviewer and waited another 2 or so weeks. I was invited in for an onsite interview. I went expecting one interview, it was actually multiple interviews. Interestingly enough, my competition was also invited in on the same day. It was a bit nerve wracking meeting him because he was a super cool guy, I liked him! There were 4 interviews total, one was a panel while the rest were one on one. At the end of the day, we were told that one of us would move forward. About a week later, I was notified that I was moving forward and had to take a 4 hour assessment. It included the Wonderlic, numerical, verbal reasoning, personality & psychological exams. HR got the results and we discussed some of the things that came up in the personality exam. A few days later was salary requirements discussion and then finally receieved offer letter. Next was the pysical, hair and urine testing. Then background check and check of work history & education. Finally got a start date about 8 weeks after initial contact. The entire process is not for the weak in spirit! They invest a lot of time and money into finding the right candidates.
