I got referred, but I got called in for an interview. The directer was away on a retreat, but I got interviewed by two other fitness staff members. Very fun, informal interview. They did their best to make it feel like a conversation. Really wanted to make sure you knew how to do fitness assessments as well as how to identify proper form, so as to help people working out.

I sent my resume by email and 3 days ahead the Manager called me asking for a interview. I was interviewed by 2 managers in the same time. I did not felt pressured and they were very nice with me. The interview had 40 min long and I could get out of there with a good feeling that they liked me. They asked me in the end of the interview 2 personal references with phone and email.

I went in and was greeted warmly by the hiring staff. It was an interview conducted by 4 individuals. I was offered the position the next day.
