I saw a Craigslist ad about the opening. They didn't indicate what company they were. The ad was pretty vague about the job and didn't give much description about the position. They focused too much on writing about the personality they are looking for. I sent my resume and cover letter to the Craigslist email. I got an email the next day by an outside recruiter scheduling for a phone interview. The recruiter turns out to be a former employee of the company who now serves as a consultant. She called on time. I like her style of interview. She wasn't like a robot reading from a paper, the approach was more like we were just chatting on the phone. She asked about my past exepriences and focused on some areas which she thinks would be similar to the position I am applying for. After that, she gave me a detailed description of the company, the departments and the job position. Then she asked me if I have any questions for her. I asked some questions about the position. She answered all the things I wanted to know in full details. The whole interview lasted about 30 minutes. She then said she would discuss my application with the company and to wait for them to contact me again. I followed up 2 weeks later and got a reply that I didn't make it through the next round.
