Interviewing with Territory Foods was utterly surreal. The person I spoke with did not know anything about the company or how it operated and every time I asked a question like "where does the food get packed?" or "how do you ship it out?" I was met with a solid 15-30 seconds of deafening silence. I had to keep following up with "Hello? Are you still there?" to remind this manager that he actually needed to speak. Unfortunately, once he did finally resume talking all he had to say was "I don't really know. Do you have any TECHNICAL questions you can ask me?" After about four iterations of this tedious process I finally asked if he could provide me with an example of a TECHNICAL question that he was actually prepared to answer that day and he could not, stating instead that he was just there to provide me with "space to ask." Asking a brick wall would have been less frustrating and more productive.
