Very unorganized interview process. Initially received an email to meet with HR. The recruiter never even showed up to the meeting. I didn’t hear anything back for a few days and at that point I wasn’t interested. A week later the hiring manager reached out explaining that he really liked my resume and experience and asked to connect over the phone. I agreed. Hiring manager interview went very well. Reached out a week later to see how things were going and was told they didn’t think I really wanted the position since I didn’t immediately follow up. I guess I can understand that point. Both sides agreed to move forward and then I interviewed with the regional manager in my area. The entire interview was him bashing on this industry and only had negative things to say about the job role and duties. I’m not kidding. For almost an hour, I did not hear one positive thing about the company or role. Maybe he was going for a scare tactic? Idk, it wasn’t going to get anyone pumped up to work for you that’s for sure! I received an email shortly after, which was an invitation for the final interview. (Already checkout of this company due to the unprofessional string of interviews I’ve endured) I Decided to finish what I started since I made it this far and at least practice my interview skills lol. The email was basically a homework assignment given to me to role play and after give a presentation to the 4 interviewers on why I’m the candidate for this role. I actually felt really good about the interview and put a ton of effort into it and was told I’d hear from them the next week. A week went by and no response so I reached out to get an update. I was told they would reach out the next week. Well 3 weeks have passed and still haven’t heard from them. If there are only 3-5 candidates that made it to the final interview, you’d think they would have the decency to send a notice that they aren’t moving forward with you. Especially after that interview process. It was a very unpleasant experience and I would never want to work for a company that handles the hiring process in that manner. I’m not the one to complain or give excuses but dont waste your time.
