He basically just explained their tech stack (java + spring boot) and asked me to talk about myself, no difficult/test questions. He then came back to me many weeks later to say they went with someone else.

Applied via email. Was invited for an interview with a director. Interview was a mix of some standard HR type questions and a handful of questions on the Postilion product. Was asked a couple weeks later to complete an online Java assessment. I was informed a couple weeks later that they did no not wish to proceed further. I did however find Stanchion to be very unprofessional. My employer at the time has an agreement with a number of other companies (Stanchion being one), that one party is required to inform the other if they intend to make an employment offer to someone employed at the other. Stanchion had chosen to notify my employer of my intention to leave and failed interview despite the fact that they did not wish to extend an offer.
