      Entretien

After sending my resume by E-mail as requested, I got a call the next day from Georgia, and then by Melissa. Melissa gave a brief description of the companies operations but it was very very brief...I thought that was O.K. because I would learn more in a face to face meeting. She explained to me that they were in a RUSH finishing up interviewing people and that I needed to come in right away. I agreed and changed my schedule. When I got to the company, I entered a lobby with a blaring loud T.V. and super bright obnoxious stock ticker. I was given the standard application forms even though i had already sent my resume. About 10 other people in the lobby waiting to get interviewed. Waited over an hour and a half in that lobby before being called by one of two women who were "conducting" interviews. Once called in for the interview it was a very positive experience!...or so I thought at the time. I was told little about job description and more about cosmetics and sports teams. Also bragging about "triple digit" salaries for other managers...The woman interviewing me seemed genuinely interested in my experience and also in my questions. At the end of the interview she congratulated me on being "one of the ones that they were inviting back for a 2nd interview". She was very specific about my schedule for coming in the following week. I explained to her that I would make myself available at any time for a 2nd interview. I asked her for a business card yet she couldn't produce one...that should have been my first clue. When I returned home, excited about the prospect of being hired, I proceeded to e-mail Melissa thanking her for the opportunity to meet face to face. I asked for the woman who interviewed me e-mail address since she didn't have a business card.... 2 days later I get a response back from her. The woman who interviewed me doesn't have an email from the company because she was just "filling in". 3 weeks since my "interview" I've yet to hear back from them about my "2nd interview". From what I've read about this company, they seem to be playing on the emotions of people who are genuinely looking for employment, I'm very insulted that they seemed to not care that they completely wasted an afternoon of my life which could have been spent doing just about anything else. Who were these women interviewing us? An outside agency? Contestants for a hiring management job? Whatever it was it was COMPLETELY unprofessional and insulting. Stop wasting peoples time.
