I applied online as all applications must be now. About a week later I received a phone call to follow up on my application (I guess you could call this the "phone interview" portion). My group interview was less than a week later with 8(?) other applicants. It was more informal but definitely touched on basic group interview questions. Two days later I was contacted to come for a 1-on-1 interview. The actual interview took place less than a week after. My demo was done as the last part of my solo interview. At the end, they basically told me that the whole interview process was over and that I did great. All that was left were my reference checks and they would contact me to let me know if they had an offer/if I wanted to go forward. The next day I received a phone call with an offer (Yes, they did actually contact both of my references). It can be a tedious process for some but they take hiring very seriously, even at the seasonal position, especially because of their brand name and what it represents. Obviously locations vary for how long the process goes.

I was first contacted over the phone for a quick phone screen. During the phone call, I was asked about my previous job experiences, responsibilities, and why I left my previous job. I was also asked about why I chose Sephora. They then asked me to come in for an interview. When I came in for the in-person interview, I sat and spoke with the manager who asked me typical interview questions.
