The process was standard. The reason behind my rating is because the hiring manager was vocal about her bias and used that to reject my employment. I had asked about her experience with the company and she stated she had worked with them for quite some time. She also mentioned that there had been a point in her career where she quit because she had gotten “bored.” Later, when I asked if she had any apprehension about hiring me, she acknowledged my experience and stated her concern was that “[I] would get too bored.” I mistakenly told her specific strategies I used at my previous job to improve processes. She mentioned she thought my idea was excellent and would have to consider using said strategy. My previous role was an assistant manager position at a well-known warehouse, so I have the experience the hiring manager suggested she was looking for.
