I had two rounds of interviews for an Analyst, Ramp-up Steering role. The process seemed promising — the hiring manager wasn’t even based in the U.S. (likely Europe, since Scout is backed by Volkswagen), so I didn’t expect sponsorship to be an issue. I never got any clear feedback or reason for rejection, even after following up. Later I found out it was because of visa sponsorship, which was never communicated. That was frustrating and disappointing especially after investing time and genuinely wanting to be part of the team.
