The interview consisted of giving a technical presentation followed by individual interviews by the team members. It was a long day, but the employees at Sandia were welcoming and made you feel very comfortable.

Technical presentation and questions, then a series of behavioral questions. The interview was fairly short for a panel interview (~1 hour), and was the only interview I had for the position.

Had two interviews. 1st was a phone screening with HR, she was very friendly and helpful; went over resume and asked some behavioral questions. 2nd was a slightly more technical interview with two systems engineers; went over resume, asked STAR questions, and asked general technical knowledge questions to gauge how you think through the process.

Interview panel of usually 4 with management and peers. A round table style of interviewing. It took approximately one hour with introductions a s a brief explanation of the position. Interview was over Microsoft teams.
