I imagine the process was similar to most experienced-hire processes: recruiter screen, interview with hiring manager, take-home case + presentation, virtual onsite (3 interviews), & talk with hiring director. Overall, Samsara and my recruiter (Jess Guenette) handled the entire process incredibly well. I was encouraged to text/email status updates, and she stayed in constant communication + made herself available at every stage. She had a positive attitude, was transparent with me, was able to coordinate the steps efficiently (even with last minute notice), and generally made me feel like she was on my side. Mario Castro was also a great communicator during this time and scheduled the conversations in a timely manner.

I didn't get an offer but I genuinely appreciate the interview experience at Samsara. The recruiter was so nice. She gave me advices prior to the interview, and always kept me informed on the timeline through email and texts. After getting the rejection, she even offered to talk to me on the phone on why I wasn't selected. The interviewers all seemed to be very knowledgable and interested in my experiences. I would recommend others to apply for the company, and I will apply again if I see a role that fits me better. The interview process is pretty standard - recruiter call followed by hiring manager call followed by virtual on-site with a panel.
