I was voluntarily reached by a recruiter via a phone call, without me applying to the job. They asked me to come for in-person interview, to which I agreed. They refused to share the salary range, despite me asking for it twice. When I went in there, one of the team members (person A) came in stating the other member (person B) is on a phone call with them from India who will be conducting the interview. They asked a few illegal questions - my current salary (in writing), marital status and race/ nationality. Person B also passed some false claims about US laws and regulations such as Govt. support for childcare etc. They also asked me fill out an interview form asking for my "last" salary,
