I applied online on an Indeed post looking for experienced content writers. My experience with a writing agency had been horrible so I was looking for a way out and the opportunity came along. I got a call from the human resources manager the next day and was asked to write 500 words informative, engaging piece on a topic related to search engine optimization. The next day, I got a call from the manager saying my piece has been shortlisted and that they'd like me to interview asap. I interviewed the same day and got hired. The process didn't take long. The CEO conducted my interview, evaluated my factual knowledge of English as a language, Search Engine Optimization and writing for the web.
