I found the whole process bizarre. It was clear that there was a disconnect between the hiring manager and 2 of the leadership team members. The process/decision-makers kept changing including the needs of the role. I actually think there is a disconnect between what they portray themselves to be (leading-edge fintech), who they really are (traditional property investment with some tech components ), and what they want to be (protech). I got strung along for 6 weeks and did a case interview presentation. And then they changed the job description requirements. Only in an economic recession can a company get away with that. There is another post from a former employee that says they are really a small business, not a tech start-up. Not far from the truth.
