I applied online and rec'd an email about 1 week later, asking me to come in to the Mississauga office for testing. Prior to the on-site testing, I had to complete a series of web assessments: grammar, comprehension, math skills, personality and 'ethics' (would you do drugs at work?) The online tests were very thorough and mid to highly challenging. Without the use of a calculator I found the math questions quite difficult. I haven't been a student for a very long time and I guess my mind just doesn't think in these terms. On the day of the in office testing, they request business dress code and I was led to believe I would be speaking with someone from HR after the assessment. This didn't happen. Five of us were there to do the online testing, which was very clinical. Once we were all finished and back in the 'waiting room' the receptionist said "thank you, you're done and we'll be back to you in 3-5 business days". The tests were in 3 parts: sequence logic using the alphabet, pattern logic (which diagram is next in this series?) and math problems, ie: 30% of men, 40% of women take night school, how many people work at this company. I had a really hard time with this section. I would expect the kind of person would could get through these tests successfully would not have the personality and charisma to be a successful trainer but that's my just opinion. I think Rey & Rey casts a very wide net and uses these assessments to do the filtering for them while using the least amount of manpower possible. Unless you are a mathematical genius I wouldn't bother with this time consuming process.

After submitting the application, I was asked to complete the aptitude test. It was lengthy and some parts were difficult for me, and I didn't get to finish a couple sections. I was surprised when they followed up with me for an interview, so don't be discouraged by the test! I had 3 interviews total - one with a recruiter, one with a supervisor for the role, and one with a regional manager. Their questions mostly focused on my experience, and I think it helped that I asked a lot of questions to them.
