Against current and previous employees' advice, I applied online, and this is the bizarre chain of events that followed: received email asking me to submit my resume and salary expectations to the hiring manager, whose email address was provided; took several online SAT/ACT prep assessments on site; received an email inviting me to return for more rounds of assessments; was advised by test administrator that I would be contacted for a formal interview.
