I first had an informal coffee chat with the CEO to learn about the company, the role, and upcoming product plans. Following that, the formal interview process included a meeting with both co-founders, an onsite where I met with Product, Operations, and Design, a second onsite focused on a product case study, and then a virtual meeting with various engineering and data science leaders. It was nice to have the opportunity to meet with many different departments, especially the core engineering leaders. I had ample opportunity both during and after interviews to ask questions. I also had the chance to explore the product myself and dive into recent customer learnings. Everyone I spoke to was smart, down to earth, full of positive energy, and genuinely nice. It was especially useful to chat with a number of veterans on the team who've worked together for awhile and could speak to the evolution of the company.
