First I had a phone interview. The lady called me 15 mins earlier than our scheduled time, I told her I would give her a call back in 5-10 mins because I was rounding up at my current job. I called her back twice and she didn’t get back to me until 30 mins later than our scheduled time. Then during the phone interview she was very awkward, stumbled on her words and didn’t seem to be too interested in who I was and was just trying to quickly go through what seemed like a list of of questions she had in front of her. After the phone interview was over didn’t hear from her for about 3 weeks after I had emailed her twice. When she got contacted me the email said “are you still interested in interviewing for the service Desk position role?”. I went in for an interview and it was really short. All they did was explain the company and what it does and barely went over the position itself and just said how they need two service Desk people because one person can’t handle everything. The in person interview felt rushed. I interviewed with them on a Thursday and they said they’ll get back to me Monday the latest. Of course I don’t hear anything from them for almost two weeks after I contacted the lady twice. And my last time reaching out to her was more like a “oh yea they decided to move forward with other candidates.” So I pretty much wouldn’t have gotten an answer from them if I didn’t keep reaching out.

“Talent Acquisition” interaction was very unprofessional. Individual who conducted the short introductory phone call wasn’t able to explain much, and the call was sort of awkward. A phone interview with a manager was scheduled, to which a confirmation email was supposed to be sent. I never received one. Phone interview with the manager went well and we moved forward with scheduling a face-to-face interview. “Talent Acquisition” then reached out and set a date and time, both of which I confirmed and entered into my calendar. Before the call ended, they stated that they had to double check the schedule and would contact me back to confirm, as well as send a confirmation email with the interview details. I again never received a confirmation email. I show up to the office at the date and time that was initially agreed upon. “Talent Acquisition” makes an appearance and informs me that I was in fact scheduled for the next week. Confused at this point, I state that I never received a confirmation email. Very condescending, I’m told “A phone call would have been appreciated.” A confirmation email of scheduled interview details were not sent, not once, but twice throughout this interaction. I guess I was expected to follow up on the follow up that was never done? Needless to say, I withdrew from consideration from the position right then and there. It’s very unfortunate because I was excited to move forward with the interview process.

Thank you for your feedback and your interest in Press Ganey. We are deeply sorry for the miscommunication that occurred. It appears that we were trying to schedule an interview with a hiring manager who needed to travel and that created the delay for your in person interview. I am sorry that you felt our talent acquisition specialist was condescending. I think she was just surprised to see you! We are sorry for the mix up, and we wish you great success in your job search.
