The recruiter was honest, straight-forward, and really committed to treating me like a person. First thing the hiring manager said: “We don’t usually interview teachers for this role.” I knew then and there I was wasting my time. Throughout the interview, she kept saying, “Well, you probably can’t answer this…” and was so condescending that I knew I would never want to work for this person. At one point, I felt like ending the interview bc she was so cold and arrogant. I held my own and WAS able to answer those questions, but it was futile.
