The interview process was by committee, with interviews with the committee and key stakeholders. It was rigorous but not overwhelming. First I met with each individual on the committee, then there was a group interview with the committee. There were three rounds of interviews, and the final interview was with the hiring manager.

You first need to audit a minimum amount of classroom and range classes and fill out a review form. You will then move to an oral telephone interview. If you pass all of that you will be scheduled for RANGE training. During the multiday training class you will be evaluated every few hours and if you are not meeting minimum requirements will be asked to leave. You will have to work with an experienced instructor while you are learning the curriculum.
