Entretien
Started well, had an initial screening call followed by a half hour technical call.
The next stage was a coding assessment where I was provided with a challenge to complete in 4 hours. We were not expected to complete everything, they were interested in seeing my approach.
Once I'd sent this back, I was told I'd probably hear back early the following week. That came and went so I sent a follow up email asking when I'd likely hear feedback only to be told that the person who'd initially been speaking with had left the company the week before.
I was assured that someone would review my code as a priority and come back to me in the next couple of days.
I had still not heard anything so I sent a follow up email a few days later, again asking when I might receive some feedback. That was a week ago and I have not heard a thing.
As a candidate I understand that things don't always run on time and unexpected things happen but I don't expect to be ghosted after being told I could expect to hear feedback. I feel like I have wasted a lot of my time and energy on a company that just isn't that bothered.
