I had a phone screening with Debs which was incredible. Unfortunately, I had to withdraw my application due to some personal issues. I sent an email letting them know. Once things were resolved in my personal life I reached back out. It took days to even get a response from Annie. Once she finally scheduled a quick zoom chat she turned off her camera and was engaging at all. She seemed bothered by me withdrawing my application and kept saying I didn’t need to disclose what was going on in my personal life. She stated she would follow up with me on Monday. I reached out on a Wednesday and she said she would update me by the end of the week. The week went by and I finally got an email saying they moved forward with another candidate. If she was no longer interested in moving forward with the interview process she could have shared that on our zoom call or via email. It was a horrible experience and I hope no one experiences this unprofessional interaction again.

Call with hiring manager went very well. I was prepared and she gave great feedback. Then didnt hear back for a week after she had said she was talking to the hiring team the next day. No explanation as to why they weren't moving forward. Not abnormal, just discouraging.
