Fairly quick interview process once we got in touch. The position was backfilled but it took them 1 month to get in touch.
Overall it was 2 steps:
1. Recruiter screen + GM back to back
2. Final round consisting of recruiter + HR, then eng manager, then eng, then 2 directors of product
Total of 4.5 hrs of interviews.
For applicants concerned with DEI at Octane... it's a valid concern here more so than at other companies. If you look at the leadership ladder you'll understand.

Question 1
Described an actual business/logistics challenge they were facing and wanted your ideas/solution to overcome it.
To give you an idea of the scope, it was a challenge that multiple teams have struggled with for months, and they wanted you to come up with a handful of possible answers in ~30 minutes.
Interviewer admitted they were fishing for creative solutions. Not my cup of tea.

1. 30 min Recruiter/Screener to gauge qualifications/expectations 2. 45 min Hiring Manager - where we dug into work experience and some behavioral questions 3. 4x30mins Interview sessions with leaders in product management and senior technology team members. Each interview was to cover a specific aspect of the company. Culture, analytics, working together as a team and a case study. 4. Followup with Hiring Manager 5. Offer
