I was in a crammed, hot room that seemed to be an office not a conference room, with four other people and each would ask questions in a random manner. I was off to the side sitting in a chair. In my experience, this wasn't a very professional setup - I am accustomed to being in a conference room, not a cramped office. I would think it also be an objective to put your best foot forward when trying to recruit people. This was not the case with Nextiva. Most of the people I interviewed with were devoid of personality and did not say much. Granted, this can be a stigma of technology staff, but this has not been my experience with any other company I have interviewed with. My overall interview experience was poor and I decided it was best to stay with my current employer. I felt that if I were going to be working with these people, I should at least be able to talk to them, but I didn't see is as being possible.
