Entretien
There were a total of three rounds. I applied on LinkedIn, then later was emailed from a recruiter that they'd like to phone screen me. She was very nice, informative and transparent and said she will email me later on in the week. I made it to the second round which was a live 45 minute recruiting coordinating exercise on Zoom. Over a week later, she emailed me saying I made it to the virtual onsite. The onsite consisted of 4 blocks of 45 minute interviews (with the exception of 1 interviewer being 30) and with 2 employees of NerdWallet each block. 45 minutes was a lot to talk about especially with 2 people each so be prepared! They were all very nice and respectful, it was a nice interview throughout. At the end the recruiter said I should hear back by next week but I didn't hear back until 2-3 weeks after (even after following up) and when they did email me, they rejected me through email saying they moved forward with other candidates. I was very upset that I invested a lot of time into the process just to receive a rejection email. I asked for feedback and the recruiter didn't get back to me until the end of the week saying she'd love to chat and make time for me, and after sending her my availability, I never heard from her again. It showed me that I'm not worth their time if I didn't get an offer.

I had a good experience in this process. The process was pretty timely and the recruiter was always available for guidance or clarifying questions. I met with a lot of people on the team to get a good sense of the position.

Entretien
My interviewer was 30 minutes late to our video interviewer and did not provide an advance warning she'd be late. When I asked if everything was alright, she said that the wifi was down and she had to run to the other office. If that was the case, why not just call and do a phone interview? When we finally started the video conference, she was distracted and was waving to coworkers as they walked past her. It was rude and disrespectful. Afterwards, I never got a response back about my application status. For a company that prides itself on candidate experience, I was extremely disappointed.
