Initial HR Phone Interview If shortlisted, you'll receive a phone call or virtual screening from HR to: Confirm your availability and interest Discuss your work experience, especially in operations Ask about salary expectations and notice period Share basic information about the role and expectations 3. First Panel Interview (Operational Fit) You’ll likely meet with the Branch Manager, Head of Operations, or Regional Lead to assess: Your understanding of day-to-day operations in a credit institution How you handle processes like loan disbursement, collections, and reporting Experience with team supervision, branch coordination, and compliance Familiarity with internal SLAs, customer handling, and system tools Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills You may also be asked about how you’ve handled challenges like late repayments, branch audits, or staff performance. 4. Practical Assessment or Case Study (Optional) You might be given a brief case study or scenario to test your ability to: Improve an underperforming branch Handle a compliance issue or operational bottleneck Interpret a basic operational report and make recommendations 5. Final Interview (Executive Panel) This may involve the HR Manager and a member of senior leadership, such as the General Manager or COO. Focus will be on: Leadership style and cultural fit Strategic thinking and ability to scale operations Your motivation for joining Mwananchi Credit Willingness to relocate or manage across branches Questions about integrity, ethics, and company loyalty 6.
