The interview itself was perfectly fine, but I'm leaving a negative experience designation due to being ghosted after the fact, even after I followed up. The interview was with the VP of marketing, who this role reports to. Standard interview, good questions, pretty average difficulty. The VP was tough but kind, and the conversation overall went well. I followed up the next day with a thank-you note, but I never heard back about the role either way. I assume I didn't move on since I didn't hear back, but I never received official word either way. This was an unfortunately unprofessional way to end an overall professional experience.
