From my experience, Meta’s interview process is fast-paced, structured, and very metrics-driven. As a recruiter myself, I appreciated how consistent the process was—it’s clear they aim to evaluate candidates fairly across the board. That said, it was definitely intense. There’s a strong emphasis on behavioral frameworks like STAR, and you’re expected to clearly articulate impact and ownership in every answer.
For a talent-facing role, the bar was high on cross-functional influence, data literacy, and the ability to operate in ambiguity. I felt well-prepared going in, but it’s not a process where you can just wing it. They’re looking for depth, clarity, and a strong alignment to Meta’s values and culture of ownership.
Overall, I respected the structure and the experience, even though it was challenging. It gave me a good sense of how seriously they take hiring and how intentional they are about bringing in high-impact talent.
