The interview process consisted of an initial screening questionnaire, two phone interviews and a final day of on-site interviews. While the recruiter didn't exactly seem like she gave a damn, she was very professional and timely in responses. The questionnaire was very basic. If you don't pass this stage just don't even bother continuing. The coding and systems phone interviews were basic enough too. The coding involved a simple array partitioning algorithm, with the usual focus on efficiency that you should expect. The systems interview was basic if you've ever studied the Linux kernel in any decent depth at all before. The on-site interviews were fair, but frustrating. The first two were coding, and both reasonably easy at that. The personality one was fine, just know your past projects and the usual work environment stuff. The final one was systems, and was very difficult, and the area I believe ruined my chances, but only because I hadn't done enough study in the areas I was asked. They will single out one or two aspects of the kernel, and absolutely drill you in these areas. As I said, if I had prepared properly for these areas, it would probably have been a breeze. It's frustrating because it's kind of luck (as is any interview). If I had been asked other aspects of the kernel, it would have been simple. Others, not so much.

Pretty straightforward. I interviewed for the PE University Grad role. The first round was mainly a basic coding round and a PE basics round. Once I passed that, there was a loop of 3 interviews - System round (focussed on OS concepts), another coding round and a behavioral round.
