      Entretien

I waited for approximately 30 minutes before the person I was to see was available. Each interview took more than an hour. The questions were nonsense. Did you want to hire me based on my abilities, or my ability to answer silly questions about bugs and orange juice? The kitchen I was seated in was filthy and smelled of refuse. Somewhat dangerous part of town. It took over a 5 months to receive any sort of answer whether or not we were going to move to the next level of interviews. My follow up emails, calls and thank you were all ignored. The room was extremely loud due to the traffic outside. It was difficult to hear all the questions. Everybody was in precise rows in the office, looked like a sweat shop.

      1) General Phone Screen: This is fairly standard and is used to ensure the applicant understands the position to which they have applied and are still interested in said position once learning more/having their questions answered. 2) Specific Phone Interview: I interviewed with the head of my prospective team. It went great. She was really down to Earth and we immediately hit it off with shared experiences. 3) In-Person Interview: I met with the CEO and also someone I believe was in Biz Dev. The interview with the CEO was perhaps the most negative interview experience I've had to date. The interview started off fine, and he did ask the questions someone else mentioned here (see below). We worked through the answer to the OJ/water question together, then things went downhill. He essentially told me that I don't seem like I strive or work hard (even though this would be the second job I'd be holding if they'd offered me the job). Very arrogant. He launched into his "war stories" about being in medical school and not having any food and how spoiled we are in America. It was really upsetting and I hope he changes his style for future applicants.

      Question 1

      1) Bug is in the top corner of a cuboid room. What's the shortest path to get to the opposite corner of the room (without flying)? 2) You have 10 cc of pure orange juice in a clear glass, and 10 cc of pure water in a second glass. If you take 1 cc of orange juice and pour it into the water, then take 1 cc of the water/OJ mixture you just created and pour it into the orange juice, is there more orange juice in the water glass, or more water in the orange juice glass?
