The Interview Process consisted of : 1. Technical round (1:1) 2. Technical problem solving written round 3. HR round 4. Telephonic technical round with the Technical Head (from Mumbai) All the rounds were pretty routine with basic questions asked. In the final round, I inquired as to why they had such a distributed setup (HO @ Mumbai + dev team @ kakinada) even though they were a new startup. I got an answer comparing CarTrade with a giant like Google which had a distributed team. Additionally they also said that the low attrition rate was the reason why they had the dev team in Kakinada (city in Coastal Andhra Pradesh) - thats a pretty negative answer for a startup which is aiming to disrupt the automobile sales industry. I didn't hear back from them after this. Later I saw that their online job ads had replaced Bangalore with Kakinada.
