Railroad type back to back interviews with HR over the phone, a few weeks later with the hiring manager in person, leadership interview and a final regroup with the hiring manager. All reasonable and perceived as efficient as can be in a complex organization. Offer letter sent within a few weeks

Attended several rounds of interviews over a period of 5 months but got ghosted despite multiple follow ups with HR. Was told that I will be notified but no news at all.
Multiple rounds of interviews. Each one includes one senior person from Japan. A lot of emphasis of cultural fitment. Interviews are thorough and rigorous. Questions range from skills, situational leadership, passion for the role and long term relationship.
