I had an interview with someone who was actually a former salesperson, not even a professional manager. In the end, it turned out the job paid only $18 per hour—the bare minimum for California—for a full-time position with heavy customer traffic. On top of that, there were absolutely no benefits. To make matters worse, the contract they sent didn’t even include the legally required PTO days under California law. This company clearly doesn’t value its employees, and I would not recommend working here.

It was very conversational and easy/low-stress. They asked about my bridal experience, my retail experience and stressed that they needed weekend availability. The only drawback is that they were running almost 45 mins late at my first interview and nearly 30 mins late at my 2nd. But overall very friendly and easy...like talking to a friend.
