J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Liferay (Diamond Bar, CA) en juin 2014

      Entretien

The interview process was well thought out. They asked a lot of good technical questions and really seemed to want to know me as a person and employee. They expressed a great deal of interest in me both personally and professionally. I met with several managers during my interview including one of the company founders.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Liferay (Diamond Bar, CA) en déc. 2013

      Entretien

I was interviewing from out-of-state the majority of the time via phone and Skype while looking to move to California full time. The whole interview process was not bad but took an interesting turn at the end. I met with the Manager of the department I was interviewing via phone. This was a generic conversation to confirm I was interested and went over my basic technical skills and background. This was follow up by a Skype call with the Manager and a member from the team to ask me some basic troubleshooting questions. This Skype call was followed by a second Skype call a week or so later where I met with another member of the Liferay team (via Skype) and went a little further in my technical background and troubleshooting skills. After this, I was given two documented support tickets and to then record my screen to reproduce the issues. I was given 4 days to learn the company's software, install procedures/requirements, and reproduce the 2 issues. It took about 10 days to get back the results of my screen recording. From there, I was asked to come on-site for an in-person interview. This included a paid plane ticket, rental car, and hotel around the corner from the office. The on-site interview was about a 4-hour block where I met with multiple members of the team (all senior members of the department and upper management).

      Question 1

I was requested to reproduce and record my screen for two previously documented support tickets by installing the software and following the reproducible sequence.
