Recruiter reached out and had an initial screening with me then Senior Director interview where we covered the team structure and their internal challenges. Also had a quick recap of my previous achievements and management style relevant to this position.
The initial outreach was warm, and the interviewers were friendly and engaging during the calls. After the first two calls, total lack of follow-through. Ghosted after the second round of interviews despite verbal confirmation that my profile was "exactly what they were looking for." Follow-up emails were ignored, and the position was reposted on LinkedIn without any response provided.
If someone invests their time into your interview process, they deserve the courtesy of a definitive update or a standard rejection email rather than being ghosted.
