Initial conversation with HR, classic questions and information. Second stage with one of two creative leads then I was issued a take away task. The conversation was great, I felt like we not only got along but shared ways of thinking and interest in the design world. The task was very very abstract - it took a full week to actually understand what was being ask for and to design the output. Upon presenting to one of the two creative leads (was meant to be two but the other was absent) it was understood that the assignment successful (nothing bad to say) words like "synergy" were used (hopeful) and that it very much aligned with what type of work they wanted to do. I believe there must have been some miscommunication between the two creative leads because I think my application was mishandled. They came back with a lacklustre response about my design skills, but given the nature of the task, I was not able to exercise they're expectations. It was a great disappointment to have such a seemingly hopeful application treated so poorly. I believe there were some poor internal mechanics at play.
