I came into contact with a former colleague who was, at that time, working as a teacher at Kolburne. I told her that I was interested in the reading opening at the school which I had viewed on the Kolburne website. She recommended me to the principal for the position of reading specialist. I interviewed with the principal first and then was also briefly interviewed by the asst. principal. Shortly after, I was informed by the principal that they wanted me for this position and I was hired.
