The process took 6+ months. Initially the position was for an Engineering manager. Two interviews took place in March'20 and was told just before the final scheduled HR round by the consultany company that the HR is busy and the interview will be postponed to next week. The next week actually came 5 months later when the lady from the consultancy calls me and informs that the position is now for a Principal engineer and I need to give another technical interview. I agreed but asked them to confirm my salary expectations which was around 45-50 percent hike as my current CTC was low for the experience. I got a confirmation that they were fine with the salary expecations. After the technical round, got a call for the final HR round after 2-3 weeks. During the HR round, the HR asked about the salary expectations again and she confirmed they were fine with the expectations. She said I will get a call from their finance team for the documents before they release the offer. After I submitted the documents, their recruitment team calls me after few days that they can offer me a figure which was only around 20 % hike from my current salary. I declined ans she said she will check get back. The next day she calls and says they can offer max around 25 % hike. I meant you wasted time for 6 months and you offer peanuts as salary hike. In their job description, they mentioned they wanted a canditate from only premier institutions. You want a premier candidate to join you but you offer salary that of a substandard service based company. The worst part is after I declined the 25% hike offer, no one from their HR team bothered to call back and negotiate. I reached out to the consultancy company "Bridge Management Services Pvt Ltd," which too was very unprofessional. The lady 'Valli' from the consultancy company I spoke to for all the 6 months assured me she will check with them but stopped answering my calls and messages after that. I think Kantar's recruitment team and the consultancy company people, you both are poor communicators and should look for new jobs. It was really disappointing to waste time with such people. These recruitment and consultancy folks keep pestering you to just appear for the interviews just for a a tick mark from their end. They are shamless in wasting other's time.
