When I was hired I was recruited from my job at Urban Outfitters as a Sales Associate. I took a pay cut for a loss of commute and a title as a move to help myself move up in the future. I didn't have much of an interview and was pretty much hired on the spot when they finished the separation for their key holder before me.

The interview was very basic and mostly surrounded what the expectation would be at Journeys vs what I faced at Urban Outfitters.
It helps if you have been in retail and a keyholder before to be even selected for interviewing. They're not going to be as lenient as if they're interviewing a sales associate. Be prepared to discuss numbers when it came to sales.

Got an interview with the distrect manager, had a second interview told I was being interviewed for co- manager. Then my job offer was for a manager.
I was happy for the offer, and that they saw
