They are using AI to interview. The day I got the interview request and clicked the link to start the the AI was down. I replied to the recruiter letting them know I would be happy to jump on a phone call or Zoom call "the old fashioned way" to which they never replied. I ended up being able to do the AI interview a few hours later. It was pretty smooth but will push you for exact answers to the question, if it doesn't feel you answered it will ask you to answer the question directly. After I finished, I emailed the recruiter again and they never replied. I followed up the next week and finally got a reply from the recruiter saying they would let me know by the end of the week. They still haven't replied to me again so it's obvious I didn't make it to the next stage. I think we should be holding companies accountable for this type of behavior, using AI interviewers and still getting ghosted by the recruiters.
